L3 – Demonstrate how to initiate and plan a CAS experience:
Because this was a self regulated 15 hour course on Coursera, I had to manage and plan how and when to complete this course while managing my school work. I aimed to complete this experience in 15 days, but it took me around 25 days because there were some tasks like reading article which took me longer than then expected time and because I also maintained a PPT to take down notes, it took away most of the time. Plus due do other urgent assignments like Summative assessments I had to skip a few days in between. I made a timetable especially for this experience which kind of helped me to complete this course (considering it was a bit boring).
L4 – Show commitment to and perseverance in CAS experiences:
You need commitment and perseverance whenever you start something new and you find it a little difficult and boring. The only thing that kept me motivated to complete this course was the reason for starting this course which was because I could not take psychology as my subject due to subject group restrictions, I had to know the basics of psychology before I start a psychology club (my CAS project) based on activities and discussions- no theories.
L7 – Recognize and consider the ethics of choices and actions:
In the journey of this course, they taught us about the psychology behind ethical dilemmas and how people respond to such dilemmas and to what extent are their choices correct. The course also talked about drugs and its effect of human brain, while discussing this they briefed me about the negative outcomes of these ‘actions’ taken by people by their own ‘choice’.
