We all know that understanding the threats to our body is important. We know how to react to many external injuries but do we how to deal with the internal injuries. Let me tell you about one of the most common internal injuries, Ischemic Brain strokes. one-fourth of strokes occur in people aged 65 years and can be found fatal for many people. In the US Each year approximately 795,000 Americans have a stroke, with about 160,000 dying from stroke-related causes. That’s why it is important for us to know how it happens and how to deal with it. Ischemic Braun strokes can happen because of uneven pumping of heart which can cause the <\/b>platelets<\/b> in blood to form a clot. This clot can then grow bigger and can travel to the brain, which can cause some parts of the brain not getting the oxygen that it needs for the blood resulting in the death of brain cells.<\/b><\/p>\n

This is now treated on time then can cause the death of the person. To help them the first line of protection is the tissue plasminogen activator which can break the blood clot and allow the artery to resume it\u2019s flow, but it is only useful if it is delivered in 4.5 hours to the attack. If the tissue plasminogen activator is not been given then, because the patient is under a certain medication of the clot is very big then the doctors can a surgery known as endovascular thrombectomy. In this, they use a fluorescent dye which illuminates the blood vessels under strong x-ray. Then the physicians will insert a long fiber in the leg that will find it\u2019s the way to the bock artery and then can remove it from the body.<\/p>\n

to I identify if someone has a stroke check if they have the following<\/p>\n

Sudden numbness or weakness of face, arm, or leg, especially on one side of the body
\nSudden confusion or trouble talking or understanding speech
\nSudden trouble seeing in one or both eyes
\nSudden trouble walking, dizziness, or loss of balance or coordination
\nSudden severe headache with no known cause<\/p>\n

If this happens then call for an ambulance right away.<\/p>\n
