EXPERIENCE – YOUTUBE CHANNEL <\/p>\n\n\n\n
For this CAS Activity I am going to be posting gameplay videos on my new youtube channel which is based on completely gaming where I will be posting about games.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
LO1 – Identify own strengths and develop areas for growth<\/p>\n\n\n\n
When I was working on my youtube channel I found out that I was able to film and record my content pretty easily and did not take me a long time to understand the basics of filming for my youtube channel which was for Gaming. When working on my youtube channel I had started to focus on it a lot more since there was a lockdown at the time but then I realised that for one of the skills required for youtube channel is that I had to work on editing my videos which i had to do before uploading my videos to youtube since there would be a lot of footage that i wont be needing or won’t be good content.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
LO2 – Demonstrate that challenges have been undertaken, developing new skills in the process<\/p>\n\n\n\n
One of the challenges that I had overcome while doing youtube was that I had to get better at editing my videos since there would be a lot of extra raw footage that would be waste and i had gotten better at editing because before in my school we were supposed to make videos for school projects and i had no clue about how to edit back then and i definitely got better at it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
LO3 – Demonstrate how to initiate and plan a CAS experience <\/p>\n\n\n\n
My planning for my activity was that first i will be asking my friend some questions about youtube and what methods i should use to record if there were any better methods than the ones that i was already aware about. Then I will be getting help from my friend about editing videos and learning how to edit them myself so that in the future I wouldn’t be dependent on other people but also asking for help if needed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
LO5 – Demonstrate the skills and recognize the benefits of working collaboratively<\/p>\n\n\n\n
One of the reasons why I got better at editing was that I had help from a friend of mine who taught me some basics on how to edit by making me understand by showing me how she edits her own videos for her youtube channel. And I think that being able to work collaboratively is very important since if I wasn’t able to work collaboratively with someone else because it may have taken me a lot more time to understand the basics of editing youtube videos if I had not gotten help from my friend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
