Planting is something I loved when I was a kid . My mom used to teach me planting . However I was disconnected with the activity I was busy with, never ending assignments and examinations  But due to lockdown I got enough time to come back to the activity . CAS gave me the opportunity to finally get back to planting  . As it was a long term activity I started in july and I am still doing it .<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Learning outcome 1 :  Identify your own strengths and develop areas for personal growth.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

As mentioned above I had done planting previously but I left it due to assignments . Planting is a responsible task . I had identified it and developed my skills .<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Learning outcome 2 : Demonstrate that challenges have been undertaken, developing new skills in the process.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Another development I had done from this activity was I am impatient so I had to force myself against impatience and complete my task , as planting vegetables needs patience, time and hard work . <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Learning outcome 4 : show commitment to and perseverance in cas experience <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

 There were many difficulties in keeping an area clean and maintaining the field . Due to heavy rain and windy climate the crops used to fall down and the land used to get muddy so maintaining the field needed more time . And initially the commitment was to keep clean and maintain the field so i was focused during the work to insure the commitment is achieved .  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Learning outcome 6 : demonstrate engagement with issues of global significance . <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sustainable goal I focused on was 3 goals :  good health and wellbeing This goal focused on ensuring healthy lives to be healthy we need to eat healthy hence growing organic vegetables will help to stay healthy. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Learning outcome 7 : recognize and consider the ethics of choices and actions <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Choosing planting is a wise choice because it is beneficial to our physical health and mental health both. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I demonstrated learner profile : <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Responsible : I was responsible for watering plants and maintaining the field area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Caring : I took care of all vegetables and their requirements by myself <\/p>\n\n\n\n

To conclude It makes me feel proud as I definitely achieved success in this experience. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are endless things that I can do in my free time but I believe in eating organic vegetables to be healthy and fit . Also in lockdown people were motivating to improve immune and eat healthy . <\/p>\n\n\n\n
