Backward and forward bending. My strength was backward bending. When I started doing yoga, I tried doing forward bending a lot but I was unable to do, so I started improving my backward bending by doing yoga asanas like Chrasan, Kobra pose and many more. I clearly saw my improvement in backward bending.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>L2 &#8211; Demonstrate that challenges have been undertaken in developing new skills:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As said above, I was very poor at forward bending, I was not at all flexible and so it was a challenge for me to overcome. I am still not comfortable with doing forward bending as it pulls up my muscles and hurts me but because I used to do yoga regularly for over 6 months I have become a little flexible compared to day 1.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>L3 &#8211; Demonstrate how to initiate and plan a CAS experience:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Because there is soo much to do in yoga, I decided to make a weekly schedule for myself. On mondays I used to do basic stretching and opening up the body. Tuesday-backward bending, Wednesday and Thursday- Forward bending, Friday-core exercise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>L4 &#8211; Show commitment to and perseverance in CAS experiences:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Because I am quite a bed lover, I don\u2019t like waking up early and so to remove that habit I decided to do yoga 7-8 in the morning. Waking up early for a person like me definitely needs commitment. To add on, I am also not that into sports, so to do something I don\u2019t like after waking up in the morning was a big task for me which I am proud I successfully compleated.
