I’ve always been interested in graphic design as a hobby, just creating random artwork on photoshop by playing around with the different tools and techniques and typography. It has always been fascinating to me and I thought I could improve this skill by forcing myself to create a new artwork week using photoshop and illustrator to polish my skills. I started during early August and I made an instagram account to document and post all of my artwork.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

L02 – Demonstrate that challenges have been undertaken, developing new skills<\/p>\n\n\n\n

in the process<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This was a very forign format for me, I never really tried to produce artworks on photoshop on time constraints and deadlines and that is why I think I have developed skills of time management as I had to deal with deadlines. I also made it challenging for myself as I forced myself to learn some new technique with every poster\/artwork I made.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

L03 – Demonstrate how to initiate and plan a CAS experience<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As this was a time based experience I had to make time for my days and had to remind myself to work on these artworks and so I made a schedule for myself to complete one artwork week and not miss the deadline. Sometimes I was really close to missing the weekly deadlines but I rushed through some and completed it <\/p>\n\n\n\n

L04 – Show commitment to and perseverance in CAS experiences<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reaching all the deadlines and getting artwork done every week was a hassle for me, I had to commit and force myself to get things done while working at different CAS experiences at the same time. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

To conclude I’d say that I developed my balancing skill as a learner attribute as I had to work every week while also completing my other assignments and while having time for myself and managing these things together. Also knowledgeable as I researched about different techniques of photoshop and illustrator. This CAS experience was the biggest success looking at the artworks created which will also help me with my resume and more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
