Tutoring Math

I organzied few sesions for few of my mates where in i would aid them in learning maths concepts which i am comfortable with

L1 Identify own strengths and develop areas for growth
I identified my strengths which ideally to me were few topics in maths which few of my mates were struggling in, hence I decided to aid them by helping in specific areas which in return helped me understand if I know the concepts well and/or I need to go through them once again

L2 Demonstrate that challenges have been undertaken, developing new skills in the process
At few instances I had to learn few new formulas specially in the topic “calculus” which I didn’t know earlier to help my mates

L3 Demonstrate how to imitate and plan a CAS experience

I made a timetable which we followed, in which I helped my friends with maths. I planned these slots to be short in weekdays and long on weekends as this would help in focus and quickly finish up all the doubts.

L4 Show commitment to and perseverance in CAS experience
This particularly can be cited on how no one ever missed a time slot or delayed as we were motivated to learn or practice the concepts.

L5 Demonstrate the skills and recognize the benefits of working collaboratively
Collaborative working highly aids on productivity and motivation as no one feels distracted or procrastinate which might occur in solo studies.

L7 Recognize and consider the ethics of choices and actions

From an ethical end, it felt as a fiend it would only be viable to aid as no one would want to see their friend mess up in their studies in the important years of high school

Overall this experience forced me towards the path of self-improvement and becoming more disciplined in nature. It also made me focus and improve my understanding.
