LO 1 – Identify own strengths and develop areas for growth
Running is something that i dont only do for fitness but it is something that i love to do, Running on the open ground while listening to your favourite music is a break away from this fast world. Running also helps me with my growth mentally because it is something that needs a lot of will power and that spirit to not to give up. It helps me in other sectors of my life too.
LO – 4 Show commitment to and perseverance in CAS experience
I have been very constant with my running schedule. During the lockdown period, I used to run 1 hour daily in my area and it totally helped me get refreshed . I worked on my speed and calorie burned everyday and pushed myself everyday for a better me. It also helped me to create a healthy morning schedule and keep myself fit. I thought of giving up many times and convinced my mind to sleep for another 10 mins and realised that it was turning into another bad habit, I took a challenge that i would wake up everyday at 6 and go for a run and after doing it my results were phenomenal. So I continued it throughout the lockdown period.
LO – 5 Demonstrate the skills and recognize the benefits of working collaboratively
Working with others is very easy for me as im a friendly person and can mix with people around, also this activity is very beneficial when other people are around. It creates a healthy competition amongst the people and pushes ourselves to work more. It actually becomes very easy for me as well as people around us. I did not have to work with anyone difficult except one, the person was very competitive in every way and also used few means which were not good for us. I really did not focus on him, I just did what i had to do and focused on myself all the time. The importance of team work was that each and every person in the team kept motivating others, our intensity started growing and results started to be seen. We stopped giving up even when we were tired or were not feeling well, we focused on our pain and fought our mind to not to give up.
