Learning 3d Modelling on Blender

Blender is 3d computer graphics software toolset used for creating animated films, visual effects, art, 3D printed models, motion graphics, interactive 3D applications, virtual reality, and computer games. I was interested in Learning about this software, So I found a online course on Udemy of the complete guide to learn 3d modelling on blender, During this course I learned many new things which I never knew before.

LO1 = Identify own strengths and develop areas for growth

Before I started learning this course I thought that it’s easy to create 3d model or some 3d animate image but after I start with this course, I realized that it’s not easy and it be done just in single click, usually if we want some animated image we just google it and save it but to create a animated image is far more different and its take hours to create 1 single image, the online course of Udemy developed my skills of computer graphics and strengthen my 3d modelling knowledge. Before learning this course I used a online free site named tinkercad which had ready made small models we just had to drag and drop, it was really easy to use but after I started learning blender I learnt many new things like what are the different tools to shape the model, how to be accurate with measurements etc… below down are the few image of the model I made during the course.

LO 2 = Demonstrate the challenges that have been undertaken, developing new skills in the processĀ

The biggest problem I faced during using blender was about measurements, so to resize the object I had to use my mouse and many time I wasn’t accurate with my mouse and while making some structure the was some would bigger than other one or some would be small than other one later on I got use to feature and got accurate size of objects. The other challenge I faced was as making an complete object on blender use to take 3 to 4 hours, and I used to sit really close to the screen of my laptop due to which I started having headache after 1 or 2 hours near screen but later on I divided the work that in different time slots of I got rest from screen too.

The learner profile attributes I developed during this course were balanced, inquirer and tolerance. Balance because I learnt balancing time with my 3d modelling course, rest and other academical works, It was really necessary to balance my schedule or else it would be complete stress for me. Inquirer as learning about this course I came across a lot of new features and option which I explored and I researched about the different terms and features I didn’t knew before. Tolerance because Blender is software which requires you have patience because while developing a object in blender you have to be accurate with things, sometimes when I click the wrong thing and my all work got deleted even I lost my patience and closed the laptop but later on slowly and gradually I developed patience, then I was calm and made good projects on blender. I also achieved a certificate of completion of 36 hours of blender course. Below are the few projects I created on blender.
