L1. Identify own strengths and develop areas for growth
I was quite repugnant towards this experience because I personally am not a fan of Yoga. but as time went on I realized that learning yoga is an important thing, it not only affects your body but your soul, I learned that I have great balance and also i need to improve in terms of my flexibility.
LO-2. Demonstrate that challenges have been undertaken, developing new skills in the process.
The new skill I undertook in this process was waking up early. Yoga is an experience of the morning and the “chararas” are at their strongest in the morning so I had to wake up at 5 am every day so that I could perform yoga adequately.
L3. Initiate and plan a CAS experience
I planned to wake up every day at 5 and then get ready by 5:30 and then commute using my cycle to the yoga center and do my exercise. For me to wake up at 5 I need to limit the late hours I would take on in my vacation. This way I was able to create a planned that was unbreakable and easy to follow
LO-4. Show commitment to and perseverance in CAS experiences
After my second day I was very disheartened as I had not progressed, and I found my flexibility bad and it was nothing to write home to. And waking up early was no encouragement but I persevered through and stayed committed to the cas experience and completed the task.
