CAS Reflection

Experience – Tennis

In this experience me and a friend of mine started to play tennis at least once a week after grade 11 got over and we really got interested in it. We played consecutively for two months and got a lot better at it by the end of the two month time period. After the two month time period we stopped playing it consecutively as school work had started to increase.

LO1 – Identity own strengths and areas growth

I had pretty much identified my strengths and areas for improvement on my first day playing tennis. I had realized that my strength in tennis is to play forehand shots and the area of improvement in tennis is my backhand shots.

LO 2 – Demonstrate that challenges have been undertaken, developing new skills in the proces

Like I mentioned above, one of my areas of improvement was the backhand shot which is very commonly used in a tennis match and is a vital skill that is necessary for someone to win a match of tennis.

LO 4 – Show commitment to and perseverance in CAS experiences

Although me and my friend did not start playing tennis as an experience for CAS but instead we started to play tennis out of interest and after I had decided to put tennis as one of my experiences in CAS.
