Gym – Activity

Regular physical activity can improve your muscle strength and boost your endurance. Exercise delivers oxygen and nutrients to your tissues and helps your cardiovascular system work more efficiently. And when your heart and lung health improve, you have more energy to tackle daily chores. So I have taken an initiative of keeping myself fit by going to the gym.

The learning outcomes that I have achieved in this activity are:

LO1 Identify your own strengths and develop areas for personal growth:

After I have started doing exercise, I feel that it is very important for a person to be physically fit. If a person is physically fit he will also be mentally fit at the same time.

LO2 Demonstrate that challenges have been undertaken, developing new skills in the process.

I always wanted to be fit but the laziness filled in me did not help me do it. I was a person who was not able to do at least 5 push ups, so it was very hard for me and I managed to do it somehow.

LO3 Initiate and plan a CAS experience

Organizing time is difficult but I try to manage at least one hour for my physical maintenance. I think that if I start organizing myself at this very time it will be very beneficial for me in the future.

LO4 Commitment to and perseverance

If we exercise once a week it is never going to be beneficial for us, so I had set a priority of using the gym everyday. I kept the priority of keeping myself fit in the first place. It is difficult but it is also very important for us to keep ourselves fit.
