CAS: Walking (activity)

With the global pandemic and the lockdown, it became difficult to stay fit. So I decided to start walking to cover maximum distance in a specific timeframe.

Learning Outcomes: 1,2,4

LO1: Identify own strengths and develop areas for growth

Initially, it was hard for me to cover the distance in a specific timeframe due to a lack of physical activity during the pandemic. But by walking every day somewhere or the other, there was an improvement.

LO2:Demonstrate that challenges have been undertaken, developing new skills in the process

As mentioned earlier, it was hard for me to cover the distance in a specific timeframe. Also challenging for me to balance my time and time I had to give for this activity daily since I had online classes and assignments.

To balance the time, I tried to complete all online classes and school assignments before the evening. So that during the evening I could spend my time doing this activity. At times finishing assignments before evening did not work out so, I used to complete this activity at night. Through this, I learned how to manage my time.

LO3:Demonstrate how to initiate and plan a CAS experience & LO4:Show commitment to and perseverance in CAS experiences

Since this activity was time-consuming, I tried to set up individual timers for different things I had to complete in a day. Through this, I managed my time and finished this activity.

Throughout this activity, I developed the character of being balanced and principled also felt a sense of accomplishment after completing this activity.
