The service which I have chosen is feeding stray dogs. After the global pandemic, I have observed that people have significantly reduced giving food to stray dogs as they had left the habit of doing it. The purpose of choosing this particular service is to provide food to stary dogs. After the global pandemic, I have observed that people have significantly reduced giving food to stray dogs as they had left the habit of doing it.

Learning outcomes achieved by me in this experience are:

LO2 Demonstrate that challenges have been undertaken developing new skills

I have always been a cynophobic person. I have always been afraid of stray dogs! Whenever I see a stray dog it makes me feel frightened. So, it was very hard for me to overcome this fear and go close to them to feed them.

LO4 Commitment to and perseverance

I have been doing this activity of feeding stray dogs for quite a long time! But after the Covid-19 pandemic, it has significantly reduced due to the fear of the virus! Now as the cases are decreasing I have been encouraging myself and also my friends to participate in such activities.

LO6 engagement with issues of global significance

Dogs are animals who can’t even communicate with us. Even they are living things and need food to survive. So, it should be our responsibility for looking after them. Hunger, whether it be in animals or in humans is a matter of global significance. Not only dogs but also we should other stray animals!
