Air pollution is something which is affecting each and every person living. Air pollution is something physical, a chemical that is present in the atmosphere. These harmful gases which are present in nature affect the humans most increasing allergens.
What I did in the experience was that I created posters mentioning about Air pollution, causes, effects, and other details which were important for people to know.I tried spreading awareness about it through social media, by putting it on buildings.
L-1-Identify own strengths and develop areas for growth
I am really good at creating posters online and creating a poster online was an easy task for me and spreading awareness through social media could also help cater to more people and to the right person at a time with perfect knowledge during this process I showcase my creative skills and actually it is pleasure to showcase me the opportunity to demonstrate my abilities for a good for the society
L-3- Demonstrate how to initiate and plan a CAS experience
I had planned this experience because air pollution has led to the next level where people are facing issues and myself with tonsils. I have planned this with my friend which helps me gain more knowledge on ways we can reduce air pollution on a local level.
L-5-Demonstrate skills and benefits of working collaboratively
The skills I learnt with my friend as working collaboratively made me gain more knowledge, help me be more creative and give more ideas on how we can spread awareness to a specific target audience. I got more posts on how we can take action on a local level. And also we had divided the task while researching so that it does not consume a lot of time during the creation of the poster. To conclude, working collaboratively with my friend was an advantage as it helped me manage my time. We were on time and we distributed work which helped to be motivated.
L-6-Demonstrate engagement with issues of global significance
Air pollution is a major global issue and that is the sole reason I choose to make people aware of it. Most people just ignore the harms and effects of Air pollution and still continue with their normal lifestyles. I choose to spread awareness on a local level but still tried to reach most of the people through social media.
L-7-Recognize and consider the ethics of choices and actions
It was a duty to provide proper information with perfect knowledge of how ways we can reduce air pollution on what basis a human is getting interested in long term duration. It was our responsibility to provide a precise and keep the information short as two people can breathe within few minutes as creating more content would take a lot of time and due to that people would not read the poster to I had made the content so precise that helped me in more knowledge and help The Reader of the target audience get the perfect knowledge with not taking the too much of time.
